Im about to get a tuner for my 05 v6 and was wondering which one is the best, but is not too much money? I am looking to spend between $300 - $500. i currently have dual flowmasters, but no cai yet (will be getting later on).

Kinda silly to get a tuner w/o a CAI IMO, but you will see more gains with a stand alone tuner than a stand alone CAI. A decent combo is about $600, WITH 3 custom tunes.

The Diablo and the SCT are probably the 2 most popular. Go with the tuner that is suppoerted by the vendor you'll be buying your tunes from.

 

Buy a tuner that your local tune vendor supports.

 

thx, I actually think tht I am going to end up buying a combo. the jlt/sct xcal3 combo and get a tune from bamachips. do u think this is a good set up, or is the bbrenspeed xcal combo better?

Both are excellent but I hear Bama has the edge for automatics.

 

btw, i just saw the flashpaq superchips tuner on allford mustangs and was wondering what anyone thought about it compared to the sct xcal3. thx
