Only 1 out of the 5 stations by my house had gas yesterday. Chevron for $4.19 a gallon for 87. They were out of 89 and 93. No limit for buying 87 though. Spent $57 filling up. I always run my 87 tune. 93 seems to just waste gas and I drove 75 miles daily before I started car pooling.
How are all these places out of gas? Hell I live just north of Houston and even with Hurricane Ike destroying half the Gulf Coast we can still get just about any octane gas at any station... :-0
I have heard that octane boosters are overly bad for these engines. If I were in you situation I would go to an 87 Octane tune until I can get 93 gas reliably again.
A friend of mine works for a refinery, he was saying both recent hurricanes are the reason why they're short of gas. They had severay limited production weeks in a row. I told him he was a company man and they are yankin our chains for more money

they arent lying bout the limited production. plus nashville's gas pipe line comes directly from houston. shouldnt effect any of ya'll up north. dont worry its just a nashville problem. just glad i had an 87 tune for long trips. who knows when more than 2 stations in the same town will have enough gas for everybody. stations run out in a day or less. plus there is a 45min to hr wait at the gas stations. sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
