Default 05 Saleen tsb

Just though you might like to know if you have a slight rattle in the Saleen its probably comming from the mufflers (my tranny had all the bolts in it, was the first thing I looked at!) Its the little dump actuator on the muffler that is comming loose, there is a tsb for it already but they don't have any kits out yet to fix it but was told they should be out soon (not to big of a deal if your gonna change the exhaust anyway) And if you have any warping in the headrests (plastic slats in the middle) saleen has redesigned them, mine should be here in another week or so, hopefully they don't have any plastic in them. Any way thought I would post this incase I'm not the only one.

Sorry, new to the site guess I should have explored to see if there was a specific section. Any way the plastic in the middle of the headrests was starting to bow up and down. Dealer contacted Saleen and apparently it was a common problem with the headrests and they redesigned them, said it will take about two weeks for them to get here but they send them in sets.

are you sure its not due to the swollen heads driving them?

Damn guess I should turn the ac on in the car, that might help to cool me down a bit and stop the swelling!

yeah i got the saleen kit on the gt mustang and ive been hearing that annoying noise. i read this post and called up saleen and the guy didnt know what the hell i was talking about. He didnt know anything about a tsb or whatever. i left a message on the tech guys phone but havent heard back yet. its gotta to be something with activator thing because the sound is only when the 2nd set of pipes open, but i cant seem to pin point it and it doesnt seem to be loose or anything. dont know what to do but this noise is driving me mad. saleen is cool but there service sucks
