If you want extremely loud then go for the SLP Loudmouths, they are VERY loud and cheap as hell!

I actually have the MACs too & they soung great! I was up in the air between the MACs & the FLOWs.

Ive always loved the sound of the FLOWs over the MACs on the previous model Mustangs. The platform & everything is different on the 05s though so the sound for each exhaust will sound different on this car than they have in the others.

I have to say though, I heard the MACs on the 05' before I bought them & I fell in love with the look & sound of em. The 4" stainless steel rolled tips make them look head & shoulders above any of the other exhausts & the sound is a lot louder than the stock mufflers. I am definately happy with em.

I havent heard the FLOWs on the 05' yet so I cant really compare. From what everyone says the MACs are louder though. Just throwing in my 2 cents,.....

Why not just get straight pipes? Seems like a lot of trouble to me.

I'm having the Flowmasters installed, along with JBA headers and an X pipe Monday. I can't wait to hear the sound and feel if there's more power. Even if there's not a lot more power, I'll be happy with the great sound. We shall see.

Dang it. The shop who is going to do the new exhaust system called and told me JBA is out of 1.5" headers and probably won't have any in stock for about three weeks. What is it about having to wait for everything connected to the 05 Mustang?

Hawgman, mine are the American Thunder's and I got them from 21st Century Exhaust. 800-276-6399. I got the info from another member on a previous post.
