Good looking car, Adrenal. You have some nice touches on it!

After seeing the pic of the pipes (the one with two cars in the garage) though, I still prefer the 3" tips. The 4" pipes didn't really do much for me.

So, Nickbrace, did those Flowmasters quiet down after ya put some miles on 'em? I was hopin they would. Dont want no drone and Ide like them to be about half again as loud as stock. Its about impossible to buy mufflers from a sound clip and someones opinions, but its all I have to go on.

I was in the same position dude - I had to buy these things going on people's opinions and searching on the web.....especially cause I live in England as its harder to send stuff back to manufacturers, etc......

There is a drone with these american thunders but I am hoping it will quiet down over time - I have been told it will! They sound awesome though and it gets everyones attention when I drive by (as if the car isnt enough!).

I just received my Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers. After opening the box I found that the undersides of both mufflers have fairly large scrape marks on them that go down to the metal. I was looking forward to receiving these and installing them tomorrow. I'd hate to send them all the way back to Florida from California. Any suggestions? Paint them? If so, what kind of paint? Any time metal is exposed, it will rust.

Dang shippers should have checked it before shipping...

Thanks!

Wow those flows are really quiet! So quiet I didnt even hear them, lol.
Not sure if it was your end or my end, or putfiles end, but stock audio worked, then when u did flows it was dead silence.

Edit: Refreshed page, works now

Hey, Barnum & Bailey called. Said they are missing a clown..[sm=yikesomg.gif]

Heck, it plays on my system. Not sure what the problem is. Dang again. Can anyone hear the full video?

Anywayzz, I drove it today. Sounds really nice. Makes you really want to floor the pedal. Well worth it so far.

After I refreshed page it was fine.

I have to agree with you there, the pedal pushing urge is overwelming.
Flows cost a few MPG!

Did you hear the POP on the flowmasters? I think I read somewhere that it happens when they are breaking in? I just installed them today.
