Very interesting! Now, if the series started with a "2" (ex: 244666) does that mean that Mustang is the 144,666th produced? I'm looking at one now that's a "205643" which is unusually low if that's really a 5643rd sitting on the lot.

And thanks all for the responses!

if you buy by 9/30 i know there are rebates. I just picked one up last night and got $3500 in rebates. It would have been $5000 but ford credit sucks. their rates were 10.9. ended up going through a local bank instead for 7.5%. I cant do much better as i just bought a house and my income to debt ratio sucks as a result. but now is a good time.

On Mustangs? I think they've been offering 0% on trucks. Ford's website isn't showing anything new.

It's also on the mustangs. When I went on my drive south to Florida from Canada, I stopped in NC to check out the mustangs (I was trading in my car, and ouch, mustangs in Canada are so expensive!). Found a great stang, got a good monthly price for it and all... Then they apologized saying they got the numbers by assuming we were a resident at NC and thus giving us 0%. We then tried to figure out any way I could still get that 0%. Didn't work out in the end. But yes, it is offered on the stangs, at least it was a month ago. I don't see why that would change.

I just bought an 08 and got $6000.00 off. $2000.00 of the discount is due to financing through Ford. I'll pay their high intereste rate for one month and then refinance with my credit union to lower the intereste rate.
