Default OFF ROAD X-PIPE Help

I have a 07 GT with axle back flowmaster 2 chambers, recently bought a off road x-pipe, too good of a deal to pass up. My question is will the check engine light affect anything after installing the off road x-pipe, I know by getting a tuner I can clear the code, but I will be purchasing a tuner later. So will it be ok to run the off road x-pipe w/the check engine light on for 2 months or so? Please help, I am looking to install the the pipe this weekend.
Thanks!

Ryan

I would wait until you get the tuner to turn the O2 sensors off. It may or may not cause your computer to go into a fail-safe mode.
