Default HELP....clear corner turn signal install

Hey guys...I know this sounds stupid, but I can't figure out how to get these clear corner turn signals installed. I can get to one of the little white clips but not the other without removing some kind of fender cover piece, which I also cannot remove. Here are the _cough_ terrible _cough_ stangmods directions. http://stangmods.blogspot.com/ (go like halfway down)

Anyone have any suggestions?

BTW - I did undo the three screws on each side of the fender cover thing, but its still held on by a few things that aren't screws...

Are you talking about the "inner fender liner"? If so, its held on by all of two or three screws. I didnt completely remove mine, but did pull the screws out so I could easily move it around so I could get complete access to the lenses.

I've got to believe this is what you are talking about. Switching the lenses was easy easy easy. Just a note though....when I put my bulbs in the new lenses, they never 'locked' into position on the lenses, they fit fine, but they just were....there. I got some silicone and put that all around the part the bulb fits into, then slid it back into the lens. Now they are for sure water tight and they dont move.

Lemme know if your not talking about the inner fender liner. I cant imagine what else you can be referring to.

I suppose I am...but when I remove the three screws, it becomes _SLIGHTLY_ looser, but moves about a 1/4 of an inch or so, not really helpful when I need to get a pair of pliers back there to squeeze those stupid clips...

Try these instructions. I didnt look them completely over, but they have pics and alot more info than the ones you linked previously.
