I've been told the same when ordering parts for the FR500C lol.

I wanted to order the huge front sway bar and the jack anchor under the rockers but they asked me if I was in a racing team with a FR500C.
I said no, I just bought the damn thing for my friend etc...
I have to either use a racing team (that owns the 500C) or my local Ford Motorsport dealer that sold such a car.
I'm sure there's a way to go around that, but I don't care...
I'm part of my friend's team anyway now.

They do that because they want to keep enough stock for the racers, since that car isn't mass produced but constantly abused lol.
The racing team also has to make sure that they have as much stock as possible on front end stuff, clutches etc... Stuff that don't last.
Especially in Europe, you have more than a week delay on some items.
Not good, since you race almost every weekend.
