Black Rims
Has anybody painted their stock rims black? I don't have the bullits, but the other stock factory ones, and I'm wondering if they're gonna look good if I do it. Any other ideas how much it would be?

i have painted mine black but mine are the sixxer stock wheels, the 16" ones
wont make that much of a difference though a wheel is a wheel. just go out and get some 320 grit sandpaper, and some wheel paint, i used VHT brand and that worked great
just clean them very well, mask off the tire with masking tape and newspaper, sand the rim to rough it up you dont have to crazy with it though, then clean the dust off, get to a decent place to paint, where there isnt a lot a of wind and/or debris, paint away, just start out with a very light coat first and get thicker as you put on more coats. i would let dry overnight untill you put them back on the car, cause it will be spray paint and that will be soft and tackie after you paint it takes a little while to dry, keep the freshly painted wheels inside would be best.
in the end it sould only cost you 40- 50$ in supplies, i would say just a few pieces of sandpaper, and about 4-5 cans of paint.
