knight rider scanner
Nik,
The real Knight Rider lights cost $5,200.. The one offered on our site is
not the same it just looks kind of like it... We are trying to come up with
a light, but the costs are too much, so we have come up with a design that
costs $3,400 and one at about $800... but require a 50% deposit in order
for us to make it for you..
Thanks,
Mike

A handfull of LEDs, a roll of ribbon cable,
a Programmable Instruction Controller,
or PIC for short, and a little programming.
The housing would be more difficult than
the electronic side of it. I guess plastic molds
are expensive. Maybe hot vacuum mold up
the LED housings. But then hot vac tables
are expensive.
Hey guys my cevinis type IV hood hood in on its way... OO YAHH HEHE ANY DAY NOW. HEHEHHHEHEHEHHHEHE
OK that's out of the way. Right now i am running a Roush hood scoop with the night raider light. Which believe is actually made buy PlasmaGlow. My light is blue and it look GREAT. If i had an alarm i Would defiantly tie it in with that.
Would love to have the Kitt Light once i get my Hood.

i've been considiering putting one inside my shaker for shows and every saturday night there is a huge cruise-in locally that i'd use it for. I need to measure the lenght of the opening. I think a 15incher mite be a tad too long. WIring would be alot easier for the shaker as it stays in place when the hood goes up.
Did you see these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KNIGH...Q5fAccessories
mite work on the venom hood

There's a V6 stang parked outside my friend's apartment complex all the time that has all of the correct badges and body pieces to be a GT500 except for the wheels and the interior is still stock so someone that actually knows what they're looking at knows what a joke it is. This disappoints me and makes me laugh the same amount.
wow was suprised to see this thread come back to life! ive been on vacation the past month and i just before i left i finally got my venom hood squared away.
my plan is to use a PIC micorcontroller, red LEDs, and get a circuit board custom milled.
The only problem is i dont know how im gonna seal everything to keep water out and how to hide the wires under the hood so it doesnt look like crap!
