Default What's the scoop on Dynamat?

I want to do some sound damping to my stang to decrease the exhaust resonance inside the cabin. Will Dynamat do that? Where should I put it? Under the car? In the trunk? Where exactly in the trunk? (it ain't cheap)

Any help and advice is appreciated. Thanks.

From my understanding. It should line all inside the trunk and under the carpeting to drown out any road noise and exhaust noise. I'm looking to get this stuff too so I guess we're in the same boat LOL no kidding, this stuff is pricey...

I used alot when I installed my shifter last time and it did a hell of a job even just there. I did mainly the tunnel my drive shaft runs in as far as I could forward and back.

It was a major PITA to get the stuff off around the shifter when I switched it the other day though. The stuff sticks mad good and when heated up its basically tar.

I plan on doing under my rear seat and along the back of it and that should keep alot of the noise out.
