and hey...I had an idea....I'll cut my factory hood....make it all precise and exact...and drop ship it ready for install to the highest bidder.

(gotta admit this is a pretty sweet deal......let ME take the guess work and nervousness out of it for you.......)

Well, I guess it kind of can be considered a RAM air mod, if used in conjunction with a stock, enclosed, air-box, no? Kind of expensive appearance mod....

its actually way cheaper than buying a new hood, having it prepped, painted, and installed.

I'm considering doing a mild trim job now

Certainly is, my hood was 1100ish when all was said and done. I dont care about the functionality of the vents though either. Well worth every penny though as it adds a lot to the car I think having a new hood.

yah, hoods do add a lot to the car. i basically found an amazing deal on the shaker and i couldnt pass it up
