I just got my car back on Friday from having 3.73 Gears installed...just to have a FAMILY member vehicle KILL my quarter panel in my nieces driveway!!!. Has anyone had a quarter replaced before? I was told to make sure they replace the whole panel and make sure they dont piece it together! any feedback? my wife states im too OCD because i keep saying its "tainted" and will never be the "same", please tell me somebody has had repairs that turn out GREAT!!! and not just horror stories.
I tied to follow the FAQ to attach the dirty pics, but I cant seem to figure it out…any help would be great!

I hate to jack the thread, but I recently had my rear driver's side 1/4 panel dented and I've been playing around with what I can do (ie attempt a bondo/metal reshaping job)
Anyway here's what happened to me:
dmhines did they really replace the entire rear panel? how difficult was it to do that??? thanks!

Yes ... they replaced the entire 1/4 panel. What they did was after removing the 1/4 window and rear window they made a cut at the red lines. This way they did not have to screw around with the roof line and had a good way to align the new 1/4 panel. They then cut the replacement 1/4 panel to match the two cuts in the 1/4 window. Once the panel was in place they butt welded the new 1/4 to the two lines they cut.
It came out perfect ....
I would say your 1/4 could be pulled out .. hammered and dollied and then smoothed with plastic for way way cheaper than replacing your 1/4 panel ....
There was no way to repair mine ... the insurance actually paid for an entire new wheel well (inner 1/4) since it was pushed in so far but the body shop was able to straighten and save the factory one. Once you start cutting into the inner 1/4 you are affecting the structure of the car ...

SirKnightTG...the gears gave me the most smile per dollar spent of any other mod ever done (Except Nitrous which ive used ONCE!)...other than the body work that girls seem to enjoy ;-), i get the everyday nice car, except the eye roll i get from the warden (wife) when that happens...the car has been at ford for exactly 7 days, with NO update....yikes
