Congrats Markus!
The S197 platform has proven it can run and win against anybody else on the planet...

I hope that they don't botch the next Mustang, or go back to a weak chassy like the previous body style.

Nice video! I love how you did the overlay. I'd love to be able to do that, lol.

Interesting video - a couple things I notice:

- For Point-bys it looks like you guys had to use your blinkers. Thats a new one. All the events I've attended require you to extend your arm out the window.
- The whine of the whipple is awesome. I can see how the G-meter reacts when you step on it.
- That is one flat track
- Pulling +1G in corners is pretty darn good
- Now get some R-Comps and track pads. The stick compared to street tires is amazing.
- Fun stuff!

I wish we had a race track like this around here, but then again the government would make no money with the speeding tickets and street racers so I don't think it's ever happening. Nice video, I like how you caught up and passed that silver, what appeared to me, base 911.. with the "shifts at 5000rpm's" lol. That's whipple for ya .
Have you tried different brand tires? I've had the same issue with 555's (which I took off after 1 day of driving with them), but with Falken FK452's it's all gone.

Yea, we had to use the old blinker method. We were suppossed to stay on the racing line if being passed and let the faster car do the work although it didn't always work out like that, for example I had to thread between the BMW and GTR as they both had opposite blinkers on LOL

Flat, yep. The camber on turn One fell away to the outside which made it fun, especially as it was a bit bumpy, but essentially the course was laid on a flat plate

I will try to get some Compo pads for the brakes before the next time out for sure. The brakes never let me down and ran without a hint of fade but the pads did suffer. They are audibly groaning now, poor babies.

I understand about the race track curbing but my car (only Roush rear springs) jumps sideways on any minor bumps under acceleration. I'm sure it would not like the curbing. Apparently you had no issue with that... correct?

No, mine is very stable under those conditions. Hmm, sounds like the rear of your car could be under-damped [?].
