Default shaker 500 HU

can you run a single 12" sub with the shaker 500 HU?..... thanks

I would imagine so. Youll need an amp and some wire to run it.

you can't power the sub off of the HU, but you can "run it". just get a separate amp.

thanks guys, yea i guess i should have re-worded a little better. i know i need another amp. i just wanted to make sure the sub would hook up to it

no. there is no pre amp plugs on the hu. you would have to get an in-line converter and splice into the rear speakers.
