NOTICE this ^guy^ & the other one who loves his Hurst are GT owners.. we all love the Hurst looks and the short, positive action - it just seems that Hurst didn't give us V6 guys as nice a product!

Deekum - I say that because it's been my observation (and I've read HUNDREDS of posts concerning this problem on SEVERAL forums) that the GT owners don't seem to get the rattle from their Hurst. Only RARELY do I read a post from a V6 owner whose Hurst doesn't rattle (and they usually JUST installed it, so it hasn't started rattling YET).. MOST V6 Hurst owners DO report rattling.

BTW - It seems English isn't your first language? Where are you from?

From what i read, it is common for a Hurst shifter to rattle. Some people's rattle, some people's don't. Thankfully i was able to fix mine by buying screw protecter caps for the shift stops. Deekum obviously had a different type of rattle. i have found that it not uncommon for a rattle to occur in a GT or V6. Also i have read that some corvette owners are experiencing problems of this sort. If you plan to buy one of these, beware that PERFORMANCE > COMFORT in this case; hope to god yours does not rattle!
