that's all going to depend on how well you can control yourself once you see how quickly your car gets up and goes...LOL!!

Do these "friends" actually own S197 Mustang GT's with 4.10 gears? If not, then their opinions are null and void since they have no basis in fact. End of discussion. Trust me, and I speak from a near daily experience for the past 3 years, once you go 4.10's, you'll wonder how you got through life without them!

You must practice driving with gears. If you just tach it up and drop the clutch sure, you're going to light the tires and lose traction. With gears comes the ability to feather the gas/clutch and use them effectively. If you want to ride around on 315 DR's, that's another option.

If you don't know how to drive, then yes, 4.10's are going to make your car useless. from a stop/launch standpoint.

you'll need a bearing install kit. i know some people will say that you don't because your car is practically new, but you don't wanna take the chance or reusing bearings that were slightly damaged when removed. you'll also wanna supply your own fluid, royal purple is widely known as the best.
