I have 4:10s and I do chirp the tires when I power shift, but still get good traction.

If your Mustang is an automatic and a DD, you will be happier with 3:73 gears.

Hey Lowrider.... FALSE and Misinformed!!!. Ya, It can be alittle bit trickier but it's just a matter of relearning how to launch it out of the hole. I too have a GT Manual ( N/A 315 RWHP) and had them installed about 8 months ago and just love them... They really feel great, and OOOOH boy do they ever wake up the car..!! You will be fine. Enjoy man ...you'l never look back...!!
So, what's the worst that can happen here.... Hmmmmm, let's see ......wider , stickier street tires (LOL). It never ends..!!!

With the switch, you'll love the way that the car accelerates! I don't regret mine one bit, and the only time I have traction problems is when it rains and I'm at a stop light. Those white painted surfaces on the road is all I slip on. Everywhere else, I am fine. First gear pretty much becomes obsolete though, and I'm not sure if that's a bad thing.

Also, get some new friends. Just kidding!
