I added LED foot-well lighting and it was very easy. I wired them to come on with the interior lights when I hit the 'unlock' on the remote and then fade off just like the interior lights. They also come on with the headlights switch and can be dimmed with the dash lights. I also installed a separate under dash on/off switch and a separate dimmer (I used a potentiometer). I used blue LED's and use blue "my-color' dash lights.
Did you get it to dim in coordination with the dash lights? If so, how did you do that? I have two blue LED strips in the foot wells also and sometimes they're just too bright. I only have a simple on/off switch in the center dash where the electrical outlet is located.

Do you have any interior pics? I'm very interested in their kits and would like to see some more pictures. If you don't want to post them you can pm them to me, or email me (pm me for my addy).

Thanks

Yes, they dim with the dash lights and also independently with the dimmer I installed. My power source is the wire in the console that lights the shifter on an automatic. That's how I got them to be powered and dimmed with the dash lights. That's also how they light when you unlock the doors. Even though mine is a manual it still has the plug and wire there. I forget which color it was but pink stripe comes to mind but the only way to be sure would mean I would have to remove my console and look (I'm a nice guy but not that nice).

I mounted them in the trim right at the split where the door opening trim meets the rear 1/4 window trim. They will move and stay in postion left. I can point them at the rear seats and highlight them. Or use like a map light. They only use a 5mm hole or a 1/4" hole if mounted in a snap-in trim/light holder thingy..whatever its called ..LOL You will not even notice them untill turned on. I have some on the dash switch and some controlled by a sep. switch
