They are open and Cervinis told me that they just cant fashion one (mesh grills) for the side scoops like the ones for the windows and have it be reliable to fit and stay on correctly. You will be happy with them (and the black piece you mentioned like on the old stangs is ugly IMO) and thanks for the PM!

So its an issue to get these things on? Im thinking about getting a pair of lower side scoops and some roush louvers at the same time and leaving them with the dealership to get installed... good idea or not?

Danny I stay away from dealers but some are ok for install of parts and I would recommend a good custom but fair priced shop that does paint and body unless you get them prepainted.....then install yourself. JMO and ONF1R- I think the flow would be interrupted if they had mesh screens...leave the sides all one color and less distraction and better visual mood IMO..... let us know how it goes!

If you get the unpainted ones I hope you have better luck than I have. Three weeks exactly today and still not done. I think these guys are just sitting in the back wanking off to **** all day.

*sigh*

SirKnight- should have sent them to me...they should be done in 3-4 days tops. What shop you go to so others know not to go there? Let us know how it turns out.

Oh it's a small body/paint shop in the small town I live near. The only people that know this place exists are those who live in the town.

They do good work but are for some reason REALLY slow. The guy assigned to paint them was off watching NASCAR this past week. But that was after my parts were there for two weeks already.

I'm probably going to call them again soon and if they're still not done I'll just say give them back, I'll pay for what you did so far and let someone else finish them. This is getting very ridiculous.

Its probably pretty safe to say that a dealership would be overpriced, but im worried about the quality. Ive never heard of any paint shops in my area and ive definitely had no experience with them. If anybody has any suggestions for the VA Beach area of VA and the outer banks area of NC then send me a PM, id definitely give it a try if i could get it for less money.
