I would just send them to my paint and body guy! Here is a link to the shop!

Fair prices and show quality....
http://www.trakon.net/customs/ when you call ask for Chris and tell him that Jason recommended/referred them to you! He knows MYGT500 is my username on here.

Hope it helps guys and ONF1R I thought you did paint? I know you do airbrushing? (PM will follow in the coming weeks-love your work)

He just did a few things for me on my car (like wet sanded and buffed the new bumper cover for show) and I must say for the price I was impressed...got all the trash out of the black paint and it just looks awesome. I plan on getting my new hood painted by them and the old hood (one on car now) re- cleared and buffed for show on top and underneath (have a small chip in the passenger stripe on the front lip of the hood)-and yes I am a perfectionist and very particular when it comes to paint quality....I mean after all I live in the motorcity!!!!!!

Ya i normally do all of my paint work but this being my first time dealing with cervini scoops with the potential of pitting from the molding process or trials to overcome with the mold release agent, i thought maybe YOU painted as well and have personally done them before...thanks for the compliment and ill await your PM!

I thought you did and I really don't think they (being such a small item) would not require that much work even if they have a fair amt of release agent. I helped sand the mirrors and with the buffing of the paint after but I don't paint anything myself (unless its calipers) and leave the rest to the pros. I do a fair amt of detailing and know how to use a wheel but that's best practiced over the many years I have been doing it on friends and family members cars and when I felt comfortable enough with dark colors in particular black I started charging for the service. Take care and keep us informed

I filed the lip on the back of the 1/4 window scoop off so the scoop would sit flush. As far as the paint goes i have taken them to 2 mustang shops and no one will touch them.Same deal, realse agent. It seems to get into the urathane.I took them to a hotrod shop with the instructions. They called today and said they fisheyed after the primer was on.They are going to try again on mon.

Prepping aside, is the install easy? I have no experience in body work, the first mod going on my car is a pair of roush louvers and i think im gonna tackle the install myself. If i get around to ordering a pair then theyll be prepainted because it seems like a huge hassle.

Mine were done three times before the finish was acceptable.
