Default shaker 500 question

Well, as some of you know, I may be getting a GT sometime in the near future. Problem is, the one I'm looking at has the standard stereo, not a Shaker. I'm sure it's possible to have a Shaker 500 installed, but how much would something like this cost? Would it be possible to do the install myself?

not worth it.... if you want to upgrade the stereo get an aftermarket system, only go with the Shaker if it comes with your car

+1. A lot of Stangers have changed the Shaker 500 for an aftermarket system. A lot of us have had problems with the Shaker 500. I have had mine replace once and still have problems occasionally.
