cut outs. question

yes you woulh ahve to run pipe after the cutouts to dump the gasses I would say just infront of the rear tires... Keep em hot ya know. either way there is no doubt you would loose back pressure meaning you would loose low end tq but you would gain HP in the high end

maybe I wasn't real clear on what I was saying.. Electric cut outs.... before the cats on stock midpipe... so that I could open and close.

I'm interested in this as well. Im thinking about getting highflow cats welded in and cut-outs before them (right after the lt's) ...

i have em...QTP electric cut outs....hooker long tubes down to the cut outs with turndowns and then stock exhaust from the dumps back...sounds real mean...TOO loud for the streets...even though i leave them open alot hehehe.........loss of low end was minimal (with my brenspeed tune) actually horsepower and torque increased...no dyno yet, springtime hopefully!

you cant do it on the stock, because the cats are only like 2 or 3 inches after the manifolds, so there is not enough room for the two "Y" pipes btwn the manifold and the cats
