Just noticed you have 4.10s. What speed were you going coming back? That's some good MPG for such low gears.

I'm still on the fence between 3.73 and 4.10. I would like to think a s/c'er is in my future so 3.73 may be better...I don't know.

Is that MPG better or worse than before?

Do you have before & after dyno numbers?

Awesome stuff. I am convinced FRPP cams can be good but I'd be real good & damn sure I had a tuner that knew what he was doing before I dived in.

sirknight, thanks for the support and save your $$$$!!! call chris at murillo motorsports when you have about $500+parts to install the cams and you'll be in heaven. I guarantee...
Not sure what my car is now... whole different animal.

Find a good tuner. You will gain ~40whp and 20whtq. I did. My next mission is to find out whether these cams are compatible with a 100 nitrous shot.

I stayed in the 80mph range on the way home. The 4.10 gears are perfect now with the higher rpm power curve. With the stock cams they would run out quickly but now that I have another 1.5k in the higher rpm range to work with I like them much better.

Murillo Motorsports is a TOP NOTCH place. Two mustang dynos and a really nice shop. I just hung around waiting to be rung up looking at all the bad *** cars in his place. Turbo Z06 vette, late model Z28 with some kind of FI, dodge viper, his personal race cars, several Cobras, Saleens.

Just be ready to pay $700 for the cams, ~$500 for installation and $500 for dyno-tuning . It was a lot more expensive than I had planned but I'm really happy with the way the car runs now so....meh.

What was the HP/TQ before and after? Do you know where you were before the cams were installed?

That's also some impressive MPG. I've been getting only 19-20. I used to get more but with my bama race tune I'm a few less.
They had to swap out my tuner with a Diablosport Predator because it works better with their dyno software or has more options than the SCT model. They traded me at no cost (depending how you look at it, after all the dyno tune was 500 bucks).

I was at 292.54hp and 307.68tq prior to the cams. Now I'm at 337.4hp and 328tq. It was expensive but worth it I suppose. I plan to install some aftermarket COPs and UDP's next week which should have me sniffing the 350whp mark.
