Question: Why do you guys drive without traction control on? It's a safety feature.

I understand it at the track, but for street driving I am confused...

I shut mine off as long as the roads are dry and to ensure I can put as much power to the road when I need it. I prefer to be in control. But when the roads are wet I don't get "stupid" (usually) but I keep TCS on since it's pretty easy to break free.

TCS WILL reduce power to your wheels during heavy demand if it thinks your losing traction and the system is easily fooled.

if you can drive your car tcs is useless IMO all it does is cause issues with looseing power when you dont want to and possibly cause engine damage when it cuts the fuel from leaning out. Im gonna do the tcs off mod this winter. solve it once and forall

So you guys think I could get a button put in from the dealership under warranty? That would be great. I am planning on getting a sct or predator CAI combo. Maybe they could turn it off in the tuning. If they could wouldn't the annoying light stay on.
