Whipple and a Clutch

Whipple and a Clutch
Can anyone tell me what clutch I should be using. I have a Whipple HO kit and running 9-10 PSI. I know that the clutch is generally the first thing to go so I would like to replace the stock clutch before that happens. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Oh, I will stay away from the Spec 2.

I just ordered a RAM Performance. We will see how it is once I get it installed. A guy at work just put one in and likes it a lot. Do a search, there are tons of posts on this, there is one on the 1st page of the 4.6 forum.

Trust Nine and sactown when they say stay away from spec...even if the clutch is fine according to Nine the customer service is crap!.... Loots06 - I am getting the RST as well and the billet steel flywheel and while I am at it buying a new stock TOB from Ford..... Seems the whipple likes to make clutches slip, break tensioners, and shred belts. I am still waiting to find out if the new belt drive from Steeda is actually going to be released. That is a thing of beauty! Wont need a new tensioner or 8 rib belt kit!

I've done a bit of research on this and decided on the mcleod rst. It seems like the single disc clutches have problems in these cars. I think the problems comes from the stock TOB not being strong enough to handle the increased pressures of the pressure plate.
