Default Bama Tune/Dyno Tune question

I have an SCT with 3 BAMA tunes 87 race 93/race & torque and the stock tune. My question is , if I want to have the car dyno tuned can it be done with the SCT I have or do I need to get another tuner? Does BAMA lock his tunes? I am happy with the cars performance but want to squeeze the most out of it. A while back a forum member had posted a dyno sheet of 309 hp to the rear wheels with just an intake , exhaust and a dyno tune, which I would be quite happy with. Thanx

You should be able to use the SCT if they dyno tuner also supports SCT. Some dunyo tuners only support one brand of tune - SCT, Diablo, etc.

Question....Does Bamachips have a dyno? I've read some stuff implying he does not. Don't know if that's true. Obviously he makes some good tunes. Don't know how he'd do that without a dyno or access to one.

I would wait on the dyno tune if you are going to do more modding. Bama's tune is really great for just an intake, you'd probably only squeeze 5 more hp out with a dyno tune.

I think what they do is use the currently loaded tune as a baseline, then tweak it and then do something like a "save as" new tune name. Sounds logical to me...though I've never actually seen or had my car on a dyno.

bama(Doug) has a dyno that he uses in another location in Alabama. so, yes, he can do a "dyno" tune. he can also provide you with a mechanic that can install cams, no2, and power adders....just give him a call....in regards to your question, the 93 race tune is perfect until you add a power adder....doug can make you a custom tune, but you need to do a lot more mods first
