Default Random info.....

Was just reading Cervini forums and I learned that the B9 Hood scoop will fit over the CDC shaker so if you find the shaker puny but want a functional-ish ram air hood you can just get the B9 one and bolt it on right around it =) just thought it was kinda col and thought I would share. I think im gonna do that.

yeah but the coolest part of the shaker is the appearance, no reason to have it if youre just going to hide it if you ask me

how much in the way of gains does anyone even see with the shaker system?

would the shaker replace the stock intake ducts?...in other words, could you install a CAI *and* the shaker ram air system?

I was wondering that same thing and to answer the 2nd poster I know i few people find the shaker "small" or "puny" but they may want a funtional system since that is the only non screw in for no reason one you can take the B9 which is signifigantly bigger/agressive but non functional but by putting a shaker underneath it makes it kind of funtional-ish i guess lol

the only reason to have a shaker is for the appearance, there is little to no hp gain.

yes you can install the shaker and a cai but you only gain from the cai. shaker just for mainly, it flows a little cool air over the motor too

The shaker is separate from the intake, and you can have both. The shaker won't give you much if anything in the way of gains though, its just cool. It does however, provide some additional fresh air to the engine bay and your intake if you route the tubing that way, which isn't a bad thing.
