Highly doubt this is gear whine...normally when you are crusing at highway speeds and then take foot off the accelerator as the car slows down and the rear end is not "under load" the whine would be detectable. If you have it at very low speeds and have to concentrate to hear it i think the gear install is fine. The LCAs have alot to do with it too as you stated.

haha no offence dude, but if you have to turn off the radio and LISTEN for it. then you really dont have much to worry about...

when i got my motives done, you coulda swore a LEARJET was flying over my car every time i decelerated. talk about gear whine.
