Default 2008 Mustang GT/CS storage ?

I want to put the Mustang up on jack stands for the winter, and was wondering the best way to lift it with a floor jack to get the jackstands in place. Can I lift from the center or the rear end?

Some people say it wont hurt to do it by the pumpkin, but there are lift points are you doing all 4 wheels? I have done it by both just make sure its in the dead center of the rear end and make sure its not on any kind of points that could slip or anything... just my 2 cents...

I do.
Been doing it for 30 years and I'll do it till the day I die.

Ford doesn't recommend it, in the manual, for safety reasons. Too many lawyers in this Country, ya know...

Don't be surprised if this thread goes to sh#t though.
There are morons here, that will tell you that you will bend your rear axles when you lift from the pumpkin... like our axles and housings are made with coat hangers lol.
