you can om and ask pascal if he has my brackets kicking around somewhere I just left them at his shop, doubt he wil be able to find them though that was some time ago.
don't mean this wrong, but I am glad to hear that I am not the only one this happened to, I thought maybe I had some how installed/attached them incorrectly...but yeah, I think it looks so much better/cleaner without them

just be really careful pushing the hood down and i would remove the wires, but if you like the look and they aren't rubbing, more power to you.

Call the guys at Shelby, they will probably send the brackets to you at no cost or very little. I have had trouble on 2 occasions with the wires turning brown (rust?) they sent me replacements both times free. Last time they admitted having problems with the Black finish on the Billet pieces, said they have re-tooled and will send me 2 replacement billet pieces 1st week in December.
IMO, I love the look of the wires, gives it that old school 69' look

Mine only rubbed when I did not have a good coat of wax under them. Now that I do I don't have the issue at all. I love the look of my wires, to me it just make it look much more aggresive. I also close my hood pretty much like 05Mustang does, "lower the hood down until the pins come threw and then just gently push down until the latch grabs". I too use a Micro fiber to keep finger prints off.

Cam installed his just like mine. Just take off your radiator cover and your going to see two large gray metal parts that hold the top of the radiator inplace. Just losen the nut that holds them down and slide the end of your cable under it.
