the 5.0 is still a rumor and hasn't been officially denied...there's still hope!

Yeah, all they said is the 4.6 model. No other models declared. And a 3% increase is not that bad at all. That means the base model is going from $26k~-$27k~, still $4k cheaper than the Camaro Z28/SS(Idk which one its called). It looks like this model will have a tweaked 4.6 3V, my guess putting out in the 320-330HP range and still being a few hundread lbs less than the camaro (hopefully under 3400lbs). Not bad at all for only a $1k increase and more options stock. Once the curbweight and numbers come out in the next few days then the real comparing/grading can start.

You guys really don't keep up on this info. The mustang is keeping it's current drive train options until 2011/2012 where they make the big jump to potentially a 3.6 TT Direct inject 300HP+ that has already found it's way into the new MKS and F150 and or a 5.0 that's somewhere around 350+ HP and/or a 4.6L in the same ballpark if they keep it.
As far as the current 2010 model, add a tuner and aftermarket CAI and you're at 320-330hp. That's if they don't already do that to them from the factory. My guess is they won't because then what will they do to a new Bullitt to give it some more oomph?

Aren't they done making the bullitts?
New specs show 315 hp out of the 4.6 in the GT!

We'll need prices on
Premier Trim with Color Accent Package (401A)-
available in the Premium
5spd Automatic Trans (44L)-
3.55 gears (455)-
Reverse Camera System (77C)-
Glass Roof (59G)-
Shaker 1000 (918)-
All wheel options-
But I really don't know how much markup they can get away with right now. Today the news showed aerial footage of all the import cars that are sitting in Long Beach on lots that they had to rent to hold all the cars that aren't selling. I doubt Mustangs are selling much better. Even if they're new you should be able to get below MSRP on sticker as well as each option.
We'll need to know both MSRP and Invoice prices.

well granted the 4.6 is the only option for the 2010 GT, they may change up the engine options around 2011 or so...

after seeing the reveal, went and picked up a 09 to stash away- to me there may never be a better time to buy a great looking GT with employee pricing thats going on...I wish ford luck on the '10, but its not my cup of tea at all.
