Looks like a pre-engine catalytic converter. What in the world could that be for???????

hmm interesting.... not sure how much of a performance gain it will actually have, infact this kinda reminds me of the old drilling the bottom of your airbox mod to make your car sound better but hey each to his own... let us know if you notice any difference in acceleration or sound....

Thats right, its called a pre-catalytic converter and who knows if it helps or not. I figured, hey why not and I also kept the part just in case someone down the road in 50 years does want to restore my 05..... Anyway, I'll let you know if I notice anything, I drove it today and didn't really notice anything to big but then again even if it helped, it wouldn't be enough to notice really anyway.

Removing it gives you 4-5 rwhp. Not a lot but it's something!
