As other have said you don't need a tune for the Roush CAI, and are you sure you don't want a Cervini Chin Spoiler ?

I tried the loud exhaust vids thing to get my fam members to get me a exhaust system for christmas (hint hint) so i thought at least...... All i got was "turn it down or ill go turn it down myself" haha
As far as the shift **** i really like the bullit shift **** alot better than the stocker and the cervini type III Chin spoiler is alot nicer than the CDC IMO!!

very cool. The Roush CAI sounds like a good choice for your situation.

yes a CAI is a good piece. If i was you i would get a tune/cai combo. The power is the best for the buck and is a great piece i recomned steeda/SCT xcal 3 (ihave it) but shifter many people will say either hurst or mgw. Personally i have driven all and owned the hurst. I am in love with the pro 5.0 and wont have anything else.
personally i say no to chin spoilers because its just one more thing that can get ruined by curbs/speedbumps.
Good luck, and install it with your son please please, he will remember the time spent everytime he drives his car. I love my dad for helping/hindering all the installs he was present for.

So, I'm looking at some stuff to get my son for Christmas.

Question of the moment since I'm a BMW guy and not has familiar with his Mustang.

If I buy him a Rousch CAI for his car do I HAVE to get a tune with it or can he just run the CAI and the stock tune?

Price is $280 installed and I thought maybe that and a Cervini chin spoiler.
It's a 2007 Mustang GT.

Thanks in advance for the help!

J.
If you decide to go with an intake, take a look at the Airaid intake. Same intake as the Roush and a little less expensive. No tune required for either.

We have a special on them for the holidays...
