I have only heard of two...
Pypes High Flow Catalytic Converters (less expensive)
Random Technology Super Stainless Catalytic Converter (The note says for GT500 but I called and it is actually for the GT too.)

actualy you can get any high flows and have an O/R mid pipe and have the cats fabbed in by a local shop. random high flow cats are the best flowing on the market, but they are a little pricy

i have dynomax high flows on my 2002

Go with the Randoms if you can swing em. Other wise I think Magnaflow makes some really compact ones that would be good.

I assumed he already knew, that's why I only talked about the cats.

i went with the magnaflow x-pipe with high flow cats. i got it from a buddy for $100. it only had about 1000 miles on it when i bought it too!!! they go for arround $600 new depending where you shop.

i however do not have stock mufflers like you were wondering about. but i had the mufflers before the cats/x pipe swap and i noticed a good change in the tone of the exhaust. it kind of sounds a little "exotic" to me. my dad says it sounds more refined and has a more authoritive tone.

mods are in my sig if you want details. hope that helped.

I just called two muffler/exhaust shops and asked about CATs. One shop quoted me $189 each, but they couldn't because they also do smog checks. Another shop quoted me $425 with the install.
