Have you taken off your MAS for cleaning without disconnecting the battery?
If so, that could be the problem because your computer gets a wrong readout.

Try to disconnect that battery for a few minutes and see what happens.
Just a thought...

What are the symptoms? What exactly does the car act like when this happens.

Take her back to stock, and wtf would they know? Symptoms = car goes into limp home mode. This mode, I believe, shuts half of the cylinders down, tops the car off at like 45 mph, and sets the rev limiter to like 3-4k rpm. It's meant to prevent more damage to the vehicle, though I believe is very unsafe when it engages at highway speeds.
