Like delurker said, you can get the vapor trap out ( wasn't going to fall for that one! ) with a pair of needle nose plyers. Just don't try to grab the paper honeycomb, pull it by the metal ring. I took an X-Acto knife and cut the rubber lip out of the intake tube on mine and the trap slid right out no problem.
