Maybe I was a "Friday" build! Glad to hear you don't have the problem.

I'm as lucky as Joo. No hood or rattle problems.

My '07 will jiggle, even after adjusting the bumper stops but the bumper adjustment DID help a lot. There are rare times it'll do it beginning at 70 or 75 MPH but usually not until about 90 or so. I think the wind speed and direction plays a big role when mine begins shaking.

Plus it then raises the hood above the quarter panel and is not aligned properly which drive me crazy too!

So there is no way of lowering the center main hood lock?

Hood pins completely fix this problem?
oh yeah, hood pins will defintely fix it, but I would leave that as a last resort.

I just went ahead with the hood pins since the entire front end was diassembled at the time of my conversion.

Remove the plastic rad cover and their are two bolts that hold lock
mechanisim (8 or 10mm?) 1/4 drive socket works best,
loosen and use wood block w/hammer to drive straight down,
mine moved atleast 1/4", after that redo rubber stop adjustment
to align hood/fender height.
Ditto that! Thanks. That worked like a charm and the hood is solid and does not move at all and I took her just over 100mph. Had to mess with the hood latch a little bit as it wanted to move the hood to the left a bit.
