dont get me wrong, i've grinded 3rd on rare occasions, but it was only because i wasnt paying attention to what my left foot was doing

I've been lucky with my build quality apparently, as i dont have squeaks and rattles others complain about either

anyway, i hear there is a fix for it, just get yourself some torque limiters (might be a TSB)

yeah i need to get the torque limiters....every now and then, especially at the drag strip it grinds when going from the 1-2 shift....as far as the OP, if it is still under warranty just take it in to the dealership....the reason i say this is after only having my car for 2-3 months i completely lost 3rd gear, the dealership tech advised that the 3rd gear synchro had broken and took out my 3rd gear....they replaced the transmission and now the only problem is the with the grinding when the trans is cold (oh and with hard launches and shifting to second)....
