Default different tires

any one running different tires on the front then the back? i have stock tires in front and was thinking of getting nitto 555r on the back for some better grip. when i rotate the tires i will just switch the left and right on front and back. will this work ok?

I was wondering the same thing... If i did 18x9s up front and 18x10s in the back is that how the rotations would work?

Maybe I'm wrong but aren't the 555 NIttos directional, left side for left side and right side for right side? Thats what I really like about asymetrical tires. You can swap left to right w/no problems.

Nitto's are directional so there is NO ROTATING if you have a staggered setup. If all four tires are the same you could at least swap front and rears on the same side. But again, not with different front and rear sizes.

you would have to take them on the rims to rotate them since they are directional. You can do it, but it is more hassle.

Generally I just dont rotate them in a staggered set up.
