Didn't know 18 came on the CS or if I did, I already forgot...
The wider 18s are out there but it won't be the perfect repro

I think they are 18x8.5s. You can put a 275 on there. I had 275/40/20s on my 20x8.5 wheel for around 20k miles. I drive very very aggressively and constantly whip out the rear end and never had any problems...

The widest safe recommended size is 255 for an 8" rim. I'm not saying you can't get away with bigger but 255 is the largest "safe" size.

EX: my friend ran 275's on his stock rims and it worked fine----just wouldn't be me

I looked into this before and the answer is no. Sorry but I have searched everywhere and no luck. If you want to keep those rims then you need to have a section welded in to increase the width. If I remember correctly ifs about $200.00 a wheel not including shipping.

Well depends how big a sidewall you get.... you could put 275/40/18's on a 8.5" rim. If you have a really small sidewall then it will not "bow" enough to fit a big tire. So a 265/40/18 may not work even though it is small in width.

Here is a spec chart for KDWS's. Shows you what rim width will work with what tire spec.

Also KDW2's.

Also here is a tire size calculator so you can be sure to maintain the same tire diameter.

I had the same polished wheels and now I have the Shelby Torq Thrust in chrome. I then added the tri bar running horse center caps to give it a factory finish.

American Racing makes the Torque Thrust D in a polished finish and provide custom offsets for the 05-09' Mustangs. Its a custom order but you have to wait several weeks. Its definately worth the wait.I know they are not Bullitts but they come pretty close.
