Being just over the line from Spokane in Idaho, we look forward to seeing Seattle get a little snow. The entertainment value is priceless! BTW we got 2 ft yesterday. My GT got a chill looking out of the garage window, close as it will ever get to snow.

I got these on sale like $92 a tire

but every time i see that photo of the black car with the front chains, I always think there were chains on the rear but they spun the tires real good, too good and they left the tire in a hurry

get the tire size you have and run by walmart or lesswab and get some chains, i dont know where ppl got the no chains crap for gts but you can put chains on any car or truck just dont try and do 60mph with them on i think the max its 25 and dont run them on roads that dont have snow or ice on them for very long or you will break them. im in Vancouver, Wa i have a 07 v6 stang with the 5 speed i have no problem running around in the snow just take it easy and start in second gear

Matt, do you know why that is?

Are the 2 stock GT (and optional V6) tire sizes listed there too wide?

Does this mean that you can use chains if you slap some 16 in rims on your GT or V6?

Didn't I just read that all cars in Ontario must be equipped with snow tires?

Maybe they were driving in reverse

They will fit on the rear. Not the front.

I drove my stang for the 1st 2 winters, and some of the 3rd. I had stock 17"s with snow tires I would just swap.
No problems at all, other than a nasty dirty salty car all the time. I got smart, came across a great deal on an older Accord for 500 bucks. Sold the snow tires/wheels for 500. That was a no brainer. Best thing I ever did, now the stang sleeps in the garage under the cover for the winters.

I've had 22 tires, and 14 wheels on this car in 3 years, lol. With only 26k miles.
