Oil Change - Quick Question

I'd go with the Syn. Oil & do it yourself! Save a bunch of $$$

Full syn and filter was $32 at Wallyworld. That was a 5 gallon jug and a good filter.

I guess you 8 guys have to add another $4 for an extra quart. Still, under $40 and you know it was done right.

I guess we are not impacted by the Mobil 1 shortage...we have tons of it on the shelf. Right now, I am running the Super-Tech. It is made by Havoline/Chevron and is top notch stiff without the hype and marketing.

I will stock up on 20 gallons and be done with it. Oil has an indefinite shelf life...so no risks there.

I just did an oil change today!! 6 quarts Mobil 1 full synthetic with a Mobil 1 oil filter!! Filter cost 15 and the oil cost about 25 so like 40 bucks and you get the pleasure of knowing you did it right!! Dealerships are known for not changing out the filter so be make sure you mark it with something and recheck to see if they actually changed the filter!!
