Anyone still looking for a 2005 GT?

Anyone still looking for a 2005 GT?
My salesman, Tony Bernice from Dale Jarrett Ford in Monroe, NC showed me a shipping manifest today where they have about a half a dozen GT Verts on the way that are not promised to anyone. They showed for around $32K each before tax, title, and destination charges. They are not charging any upcharges for their GT's. If anyone is still looking for a GT you can reach Tony at (704) 283-8521. They also have the black GT Premium Coupe with several mods that I test drove for sale for $32K. The sales manager told me he was willing to order any GT you wanted for a $1,000 deposit and an 8-10 week wait. Good luck to anyone that has been waiting on or is still interested in buying a 2005 GT.

What kind of mod's on the Black GT coupe ?? Sounds like over $4K worth, or the price is jacked. Why would they sell 05 GT Vert.s without jacking the price, if they jacked the coupe ??

The coupe had 18" rims and tires, lowering kit, steeda hood, window louvers, the red leather interior option, Shaker 1000 (a $1,200 rip-off) , IUP, and pretty much every other option as well. That price included the destination charge too. That was one reason I did not consider the swap but may order one and try to sell my for more than they would give me on the trade.

RE: Anyone still looking for a 2005 GT?
I was actually told by a Sales Manager today that Ford has cut off all further orders of 05's.
I figured that was either for their dealership or the region... If Ford cuts off production mid-July,
it would be pushing it. But, if you can get an order confirmation - go for it!
They are taking '06 orders as of the 2nd.
BTW - there was a nice Torch Red GT vert that was marked "sold" but they guy hasn't come after it.
There's a chip on the front right quarter panel where it meets the front bumper... I pointed it out and said he
might want to fix that before the customer arrives... He looked like a deer in headlights.

The sales manager at Dale Jarret Ford sure seemed confident he could still get me one. He knows I have one already so that is not his motivation. I'm leaning toward selling my wife's S80 Volvo, giving her the Black V6 and ordering the Torch Red GT. For a University of Georgia graduate what could be better than matching red and black 2005 Mustangs in the garage?
