Adding reverse proximity beep feature
#11
Long time reader, first time poster.
My wife has this option in her car and I must admit that it has (so far) prevented her from hitting anything. I did a quick Google search and found several sites but here is one that I think has some nice features and acceptable price.

Hey watch that gender stuff... I see no point in putting anything like this on my Mustang. If you can't back it up without help...you just should not be driving.

Sorry but I disagree. For some people, it's hard to judge. I, for one, SUCK at parking the stang, I'll admit it, so something like this COULD be useful if it wasn't very expensive or very obvious i.e. putting the sensors into your bumper.

I had these on my previous car. I bought a kit to install on my Mustang and then decided it would look crappy on my car. I might have been able to install the sensors close to each other in the license plate recession on the bumper but I don't think they would have worked right. I'll probably sell the kit or install on my wifes truck so she might actually be able to back up to on of our trailers without hitting them.
