Try running without a belt.
just make sure you're battery is fully charged.....

It's actually the way to go. Put the belt back after racing, lol.

As far as getting rid of the A/C and P/S permanently on a DD, I'd say: Go get your coconut examined... unless you like the comfort of a Model A, witch in turn, requires a head exam.
