Replacement rotors will rust easily in spots not touched by the pads. The ones from newtakeoff my not since they are factory. I replaced my rear rotors after ProCharger had a day on the dyno with my car. The Wagner replacements I got started rusting around the hub and looked like butt compared to the fronts. So I got my air tool out and cleaned it off with a scotch pad. Then sprayed the areas not touched by the pad with some high temp silver paint. Good as new, even over 1 year later.
