Well, we live and learn from these things! I have become alot more gentle at times with the car, well when its parked!

Home depot, auto parts store, Ace Hardware.

Wd-40 will eat away all the leftover residue. Just don't spray it on the car, as it will make a total mess! Just coat an old rag with it and wipe away. You'll be done in seconds. Then get wax over the whole area you cleaned.
