My advice would be to just peel back enough of the backing so that you can grad it w/ the spoiler on the trunk and fold it at a 45. If the spoiler sticks where you don't want it, it's pretty easy to pull up and re-adjust w/o ruining anything. Once you are happy w/ it, just grad the tabs you made and pull away slowly at a downward angle.
